THE GALLERIES AT DETROIT SHIPPING CO
The Galleries are a permanent space located on the second floor of Detroit Shipping Company in Midtown Detroit. The galleries house informal rotating exhibitions of work by emerging artists local to the Detroit area. Our mission is to strengthen the Detroit arts community by increasing exposure for local emerging artists and, at the same time, connect our audience with work that will inspire, challenge, and entertain.
We believe Art is for Everybody; that contemporary art should be easily accessible and affordable. In this, we bring art to the general public through non-traditional methods, with the aim of promoting art and collecting.

Specializing in collaborating with both artists and business owners worldwide, her mission is to bridge creativity and commerce, fostering a synergy that transforms spaces into captivating, immersive environments. Located in Detroit this charity was chosen for its commitment to the Detroit art community. 5% of all art sales at Detroit Shipping Company is donated to Arts & Scraps.
