r.k.m.x.x is the work of Rory K. McHarg, he is a painter born in New Zealand and is residing in Detroit, Michigan.

His work is self-described as figurative post-fauvism.

As a painter he is self-taught since high school, but he holds a Design Degree in Visual Communication from Massey University’s School of Design and Architecture in New Zealand. He is also a filmmaker and commercial director.

He believes for an artwork to be considered magnificent it must be observed for decades and still hold intrigue. If it can do this, it is leaving a profound influence on you. This be believes is almost impossible.

His original artwork has two XX’s signed on one edge of the canvas. His initials on the front. The X’s signify his children Xander and Margaux.
