Midnight Noir and Umu Igbo Unite Detroit are proud to launch Monthly Afrobeats Fridays, a recurring cultural nightlife experience highlighting Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global sounds in Detroit.

Taking place at Detroit Shipping Company, this event series aims to bring together Detroit’s diverse community through music, culture, and celebration. Each month will feature curated DJ sets, vibrant energy, and an atmosphere designed to showcase the growing Afrobeats movement in the city.

The inaugural event will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, featuring sounds by DJ Woleworld & DJ Keeb.
