Detroit Women in Design is officially launching!

This is a 4-part initiative built to amplify, invest in, and celebrate the women shaping Detroit’s fashion and design scene.

ACT I: The Design Lab
A women-only collaborative space where photographers, stylists, models, designers, and Make-Up Artists will create powerful, portfolio-level visuals. Location: @theetherdetroit at @russellindustrialcenter

ACT II: The Gallery
Selected visuals from the lab will be featured in a public gallery at @detroit_shipping

ACT III: The Fashion Show
The gallery will be launched by an interactive fashion show at @detroit_shipping — Exciting!

ACT IV: The Scholarship
We’re awarding five $200 scholarships to emerging women creatives in fashion, styling, or creative direction— plus mentorship from established creatives in their field.

All recipients will be selected by a panel of women judges.

This initiative is about building real infrastructure for women-led talent in design. From concept to production to public recognition, women are at the center of it all.
