Detroit Shipping Company, in support of Midtown Detroit businesses, is excited to present Merry Midtown: Adopt, Sip & Shop, a festive community event taking place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2 PM – 6 PM at Detroit Shipping Co.

This family-friendly holiday celebration brings together local makers, animal adoption organizations, neighborhood retailers, and the Midtown dining scene for an afternoon of shopping, sipping, and seasonal cheer.

This year’s event features local artisans and vendors, including Detroit Dog Mom, as well as adoptable cats on-site in collaboration with Detroit Alley Catz. A portion of bar sales will support Alternatives for Girls.

Visitors are encouraged to explore all of Merry Midtown programming until 9 PM, including extended shopping hours, festive window displays, special pop-ups, and holiday promotions throughout the neighborhood. Restaurants at Detroit Shipping Company will remain open until 11 PM, offering guests a full evening of food, drinks, and fun!

Free street parking is available in the street by Detroit Shipping, making it easy for guests to stroll or take the Q-Line between Midtown shops, cafés, galleries, and the Adopt, Sip & Shop.
